Spotlight on IMN’s Rookie of the Year Stephanie Madrigal

by Heather Ireland

“Stephanie is a total gem.  You have a keeper on your hands. Leading up to the conference and onsite, she was kind, thoughtful, thorough, and professional. I really couldn’t have asked for more. I’m so glad I reached out to IMN for help with this role!!”
– Anne Poodiack, VP, Meetings, Education & Business Development, AAA

IMN Solutions rolled out its employee awards program in 2022 to recognize outstanding achievements for individual team members and their contributions to both client and company success. (If we’re being honest, ALL IMN team members are high-performing rockstars.) However, there are always those few who stand out from the rest.

Enter: Stephanie Madrigal, Education & Program Manager

Stephanie was IMN’s 2023 “Rookie of the Year”. To sum up why Stephanie was given this honor, consider her client, Anne Poodiack, VP, Meetings, Education and Business Development from the American Academy of Audiology praise passed on to leadership: “Stephanie is a total gem.  You have a keeper on your hands. Leading up to the conference and onsite, she was kind, thoughtful, thorough, and professional. I really couldn’t have asked for more. I’m so glad I reached out to IMN for help with this role!”

In her time at IMN, Stephanie’s worn a lot of hats and is ready to jump in and fill various roles as needed, from interim speaker manager, to filling in for parental leave coverage, being the wizard of virtual events (okay, we made that title up, but it’s likely exactly what you imagine!) and so much more. If you ask her, she’d say her top skills as an education manager include project management and program implementation (i.e. speaker management, as well as working with stakeholders to execute successful conference programming. No matter the scope, the role, or the title, Stephanie has handled every opportunity with grace under pressure, professionalism, and on-point execution.

At IMN, we hold our core values near and dear. When hiring new team members, we look for those attributes to ensure cohesion with our team as well as aligning with IMN’s philosophy and its way of servicing clients. While Stephanie truly exemplifies all IMN values, she finds that “Act with Accountability” is the one that she identifies with most. Stephanie is a self-reported “Type A+ personality”. She credits that as at least part of why she has meshed with clients so well, noting, “They know that when they asked for something to be done, they do not have to follow up – it is taken care of.” Her colleagues and IMN leadership feel the same way. If given a task, Stephanie will deliver. She is a model of accountability.

Like the vast majority of IMN team members, Stephanie came to IMN as a referral from another IMN employee. Not surprisingly, we all love to work with the very best and continue to grow from bringing those highly skilled along with us. This might just be why it’s so hard to recognize just a few team members annually. Congratulations to Stephanie and thank you for your contributions to IMN and your clients.
